Bluestone Pediatrics welcomes Gaurav Nayyar, MD

Dr. Gaurav Nayyar came to United States in 2007 after finishing medical school in India. He received his PhD from University of Alabama in Birmingham in 2012. Dr. Nayyar completed his residency in pediatrics at Louisiana State University in Shreveport in 2016, serving as Chief Resident in his final year of training. Dr. Nayyar completed a fellowship in Pediatric Hematology & Oncology at Westchester Medical Center and served as a Chief Fellow during his training. He is board certified in both Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. Dr. Nayyar has a passion for primary care and enjoys having long-term continuity with his patients. He has been practicing as a pediatrician in Southwest Virginia for the past 3 years. Dr. Nayyar greatly values the importance of collaborating with families to provide the most compassionate and evidence-based care for his patients. In his free time, Dr. Nayyar enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. Together they enjoy traveling and trying different cuisines.

Dr. Nayyar will start seeing patients at Bluestone on May 1, 2023.
