  • Jennifer K. Schreck, MD graduated from Rutgers College and received her medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in 2008. She completed her pediatric residency in Connecticut. She was board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in 2011. Her practice interests include asthma and mental health. In her free time, she loves to travel, hike, and get lost in a good book.

  • Paula Max-Wright, MD graduated from Haverford College and received her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She completed her residency and chief residency at the University of Maryland Hospital for Children. She was certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in 2010. Dr. Max-Wright joined Bluestone Pediatrics in October 2011. Her practice interests include asthma, newborn care, and breastfeeding. She is a member of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and volunteering in the community.

  • Phillip M. Renick, MD is a graduate of Temple University and the Medical College of Pennsylvania.  He performed his internship and residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii.  He was certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in 1999.  After serving on Active Duty for over 7 years as an army pediatrician, Dr. Renick came to practice in Harrisonburg in 2001.  During his free time he enjoys hiking and spending time with his two sons.  Dr. Renick has served as the Valley Health Plan Credentialing Director since 2002.

  • Bonnie M. Paine PA-C graduated from Radford University and completed PA school at James Madison University. She has been certified by the National Commission for the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) since 2005. She has practiced in a variety of settings including the ER, urgent care, and bariatric surgery. She joined Bluestone Pediatrics in 2015. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys, woodworking and reading.

  • Gaurav Nayyar, MD came to United States in 2007 after finishing medical school in India. He received his PhD from University of Alabama in Birmingham in 2012. Dr. Nayyar completed his residency in pediatrics at Louisiana State University in Shreveport in 2016, serving as Chief Resident in his final year of training. Dr. Nayyar completed a fellowship in Pediatric Hematology & Oncology at Westchester Medical Center and served as a Chief Fellow during his training. He is board certified in both Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. Dr. Nayyar has a passion for primary care and enjoys having long-term continuity with his patients. He has been practicing as a pediatrician in Southwest Virginia for the past 3 years. Dr. Nayyar greatly values the importance of collaborating with families to provide the most compassionate and evidence-based care for his patients. In his free time, Dr. Nayyar enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. Together they enjoy traveling and trying different cuisines.
